CryptoQuant's research director Julio Moreno said that yesterday there was a surge in demand for Ethereum. In the 24-hour period on June 12th, long-term holder addresses acquired 298,000 ETH, worth approximately $1.34 billion, marking the second-highest purchasing record in history. This purchase volume was only 6% lower than the record set on September 11, 2023, when long-term holders purchased 317,000 ETH when the price fell below $1,600.
