Rapper Drake faces lawsuits in the US for promoting and using crypto casinos
Drake and famous streamer Adin Ross are named as defendants in a class-action lawsuit filed under the RICO Act in the Eastern District of Virginia federal court. The lawsuit alleges that the involved parties used the crypto casino platform Stake.us to conceal monetary transactions through the “tip” feature, thereby funding bot streaming campaigns to inflate music plays and platform metrics for Drake’s music.
The lawsuit was initiated by two Stake.us users in the US, representing a group of users in Virginia and across the United States, accusing Stake.us of disguising itself as a “social casino” to evade gambling regulations. The plaintiffs are seeking a minimum compensation of 5 million USD, a jury trial, and an end to the alleged illegal activities.
