Oracle's $10 billion Michigan data center project hits a deadlock
PANews December 17 News, according to the Financial Times of the UK, Oracle’s largest data center partner Blue Owl Capital will not provide funding for Oracle’s next $10 billion data center project, as the software giant faces growing concerns over debt and AI spending. Blue Owl has been negotiating with lenders and Oracle regarding an investment in a 1 GW data center located in Saline, Michigan, intended to serve OpenAI. However, according to three informed sources, the negotiations have stalled, and the deal will not proceed.
