NH Agricultural Cooperative Bank is exploring new investment plans to support innovative companies in the agricultural food sector. President Kang Tae-yong visited Davio’s headquarters in Mapo District, Seoul, to personally assess the growth potential of companies in the agricultural technology field and discuss financial support schemes that can provide assistance.

The company was established in 2012 and is utilizing spatial data and artificial intelligence to develop smart agricultural monitoring services. They have received investment from NH Agricultural Cooperative Bank’s Agricultural Food Fund. Smart agriculture, which combines data and technology to improve agricultural productivity, is a rapidly emerging and highly regarded innovative field worldwide.

During the visit, President Kang stated, “Investing in K-food and agricultural technology is an important issue for enhancing Korea’s future agricultural competitiveness,” and expressed his willingness to “actively support the growth of such innovative companies.” He also emphasized that NH Agricultural Cooperative Bank will become a solid financial partner alongside industry development.

NH Agricultural Cooperative Bank continues to invest venture capital in innovative technology companies in the agricultural food sector, contributing to the sustainable growth and development of the agricultural industry.
