On July 15, Jin10 reported that Meta’s newly established “Super Intelligence” lab has recently discussed making a series of significant adjustments to the company’s artificial intelligence strategy, which could lead to major changes within the company. According to two insiders, last week, a small group of senior members from the lab—including the newly appointed 28-year-old Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang—discussed abandoning the company’s current most powerful Open Source artificial intelligence model “Behemoth” and instead focusing on developing closed models.
