Abstract generation in progress

PANews January 6 News, according to FT, Telegram currently has fewer than 100 full-time employees. Despite reaching a user base of 1 billion, the company maintains a highly streamlined team operation model. Telegram’s revenue in the first half of 2025 reached $870 million, a year-over-year increase of over 65%, with nearly one-third (about $300 million) coming from an “exclusive agreement” related to Toncoin. Advertising revenue reached $125 million, and paid subscription revenue reached $223 million, an increase of 88% year-over-year. Despite an operating profit close to $400 million, the company still recorded a net loss of $222 million due to Toncoin depreciation. Telegram aims to achieve $2 billion in revenue by 2025. The IPO plan has been temporarily delayed due to litigation in France.
