On August 14th, Mantle announced that a new proposal from the MantleCore contributor team has been released on the Mantle forum, detailing the Mantle Core budget for the period from July 2024 to June 2025. The new proposal authorizes a USDx limit of $52 million and a total MNT limit of 200 million. In the second budget cycle, the temporary budget for Mantle core contributors is $15 million USDx and 50 million MNT. The distribution of MNT accounts for approximately 1.5% of the circulating supply of MNT, which is below the industry standard.
