The official statement says this change aligns with the final registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the listing information for Provenance Blockchain. It has no impact on security, ownership, or trading mechanisms. The stock token will be issued, traded, and settled on Figure’s blockchain and the lending platform Onchain Public Equity Network (OPEN), without relying on traditional clearing and custody systems. Stock token holders will be able to lend and borrow through Figure’s DeFi marketplace.
