AMD agrees to sell AI chips worth up to $60 billion to Meta

According to reports, Meta has reached a procurement agreement with AMD to deploy 6 gigawatts of AMD GPUs. AMD has agreed to sell AI chips worth up to $60 billion to Meta. Additionally, AMD will issue performance-based stock warrants to Meta Platforms, allowing the purchase of up to 160 million AMD common shares. AMD’s U.S. stock price rose 12% in pre-market trading.
