China News Service, March 1 — According to CNN, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian stated that a new Supreme Leader of Iran could be chosen within a day or two.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Abdollahian said that Iran’s government institutions are functioning normally.
“You might see a new Supreme Leader within a day or two,” Abdollahian said.
He also mentioned that Iran currently has no intention of “blockading” the Strait of Hormuz.
